Quick answer
Mi-Ho was established in 2013 and currently operates at its Dongguan site. The lease for its new factory in Qingxi, Dongguan has been signed and paid. The earliest target for completing the move is the end of December 2027; the move is not complete, and production continues at the current site.
Mi-Ho is preparing for its next stage. The relocation is a factory-infrastructure decision, not a rebranding exercise, and it does not change the legal company behind the site.
This article separates what is confirmed from what is still being prepared.
1. What is confirmed — and what is not
| Item | Current status |
|---|---|
| Current Mi-Ho site | Operating in Dongguan |
| New site lease | Signed and paid |
| New site address | Room 101, Building 5, No. 1 Dongfeng West Road, Qingxi Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, China |
| New site intended role | Production, customer reception, meetings and future headquarters |
| Target completion | End of December 2027 (earliest target) |
| Move completed? | No |
| Production transfer | After site preparation and equipment transfer |
| Customer visits after the move | After handover, by appointment |
The lease is signed and paid, but the move is not complete. The end-of-December 2027 date is the earliest target, not a guarantee; it depends on site preparation, equipment transfer and production handover.
What does not change
- The legal company remains Dong Guan Mi-Ho Plastic Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.
- The current Dongguan site continues to operate during preparation.
- Current projects, sampling and production continue at the existing site.
- MIHOX remains the international brand; it is not a separate legal entity.
2. Why Mi-Ho is planning the move
Mi-Ho has operated as its own factory since 1 July 2013. The current site supports injection molding, resin casting, soft vinyl and finishing work, but the next stage needs a more efficient layout and better customer-facing space.
The planned move is intended to improve three things:
- Production coordination — bring Mi-Ho closer to Boyuan in Qingxi, reducing travel and coordination time between the two factories.
- Factory layout — create a more practical flow for tooling, molding, finishing, assembly and packing.
- Customer experience — add reception, meeting and project-discussion space so customers can review a project on site.
3. What changes for customers
During the transition
Mi-Ho continues to operate at its current Dongguan site. Current projects, sampling and production are not being moved before the new site is ready.
After the move
The new site in Qingxi Town is intended to support injection-molded toys, collectible figures, resin statues, soft vinyl products, complex color, finishing and assembly. It is also planned to support customer meetings and factory reviews.
The exact production layout, equipment transfer schedule and visitor arrangements will be confirmed as the plan progresses.
4. The timeline
- 1 July 2013Mi-Ho is established
Mi-Ho begins operating as its own factory in Dongguan.
- 2026Current site continues; lease signed
Production, sampling and customer discussions continue at the existing site while the new Qingxi lease is signed and paid.
- End of December 2027Earliest target for completing the move
The target depends on site preparation, equipment transfer and production handover. It is not a guarantee.
- After relocationNew site intended as headquarters
The new Mi-Ho site is planned to become the company headquarters after the move.
The end-of-December 2027 date is the earliest target, not a guarantee. Renovation, equipment transfer and production handover can move the actual completion date.
5. What this means for a new project
If you are planning a bulk custom toy or collectible program, the relocation should not be treated as a reason to delay a conversation.
- Send the product concept, 3D file or reference images.
- Confirm the material, target quantity and finish.
- Review the process and tooling route with the factory team.
- Agree the sample and production plan.
- Confirm the production site and visit arrangement for the project.
For projects that need a factory visit, the current Mi-Ho site can be discussed by appointment. The new site can be reviewed once it is ready for visits.
