Confidential project intake · MIHOX
Confidentiality
before the files.
MIHOX is the international brand of New Miho, the company that owns and operates Meihui and Boyuan. Client IP, design files and unreleased products are treated as confidential project information — with a defined route for review, access and disclosure.
This page is an operational summary, not legal advice. Last updated: . The signed NDA and project contract are the governing documents.
01 / Confidentiality commitment
Trust starts
before the quote.
MIHOX and the relevant teams at Meihui and Boyuan treat client IP, design files, unreleased products and project information as confidential. The practical commitment is about access, purpose and public disclosure — not a slogan.
Your ownership stays yours
An NDA does not transfer the client's design or IP. Ownership, manufacturing rights and tooling are addressed separately in the project contract.
Access follows the project
Files are shared with the people who need them for review, tooling, production or quality work — not circulated across the whole company.
No public client work
Client names, artwork and unreleased products are not published without written permission. Public factory content is kept separate.
Formal NDA terms are prepared separately and should be reviewed by each party's legal adviser. See the company structure and factory album.
02 / What we protect
The design is
more than a file.
Confidential information can include the product, the character, the tooling and the commercial plan. The NDA should identify what is covered rather than relying on a general phrase.
3D models & CAD
STL, OBJ, STEP, native CAD and the geometry used for review or tooling.
Design drawings & dielines
Technical drawings, dimensions, packaging dielines and assembly information.
Character & IP artwork
Illustrations, concept art, colour references, sculpt direction and character identity.
Mold & tooling data
Parting lines, cavity information, mold design, tooling records and repair data.
Product specifications
Materials, BOM, tolerances, surface requirements, testing and packaging details.
Quotes & launch plans
Pricing, volumes, target dates, market plans and other non-public commercial information.
03 / Information handling
Use stays tied
to the project.
Information handling is not only about who receives a file. It is also about why they use it, who else can see it and what remains after the project.
Purpose limitation
Files are used for evaluation, quotation, tooling, production and quality work for the client's project — not unrelated promotion.
Internal access
Access is limited to the project team and the people who need the file for a defined task.
External disclosure
If a specialist process is required, the scope is disclosed and confidentiality terms are agreed before access.
Promotion & samples
Client names, artwork, project photos and unreleased products are not shown publicly without written permission.
Retention & return
Return, deletion or retention is agreed in the NDA or contract. Some production and quality records may be retained for legal or traceability reasons.
The exact access scope, permitted recipients and retention period are confirmed in the signed NDA and project documents.
04 / NDA process
Two routes.
One signed record.
The client can submit its own NDA template or request review of the MIHOX agreement. Sensitive design files are shared only after both sides confirm and sign.
Choose the route
Submit the client's template or request the MIHOX NDA for review.
Review the terms
Both parties review scope, purpose, access, retention and disclosure. Legal review can be requested.
Sign before files
The NDA is signed before 3D models, artwork, tooling data or other sensitive files are transferred.
Controlled exchange
Only the files needed for the first review are shared, using the agreed method.
An NDA does not replace the project contract. Ownership, manufacturing rights, tooling and commercial terms are confirmed separately.
05 / NDA questions
Before you
send the file.

06 / Request an NDA
