Steven Zhang and Stella Yan are the husband-and-wife team behind MIHOX, the international business team for New Miho and its owned factories, Meihui and Boyuan, in Dongguan, China.
One rule runs through every project: the approved prototype remains the standard in mass production.

Built on the factory floor.
Not in a sales office.
MIHOX wasn’t built on marketing slogans. It grew out of the combined 40-year manufacturing careers of Steven Zhang and Stella Yan — one focused on engineering and tooling, the other on factory operations and quality.

Steven Zhang
26 years in collectible manufacturing.

Steven entered the collectible figure and licensed merchandise industry in 2000. Over 26 years, he has worked closely with the Japanese market and its strict requirements for surface finish, proportion, paint application and assembly.
His background is engineering and mold design. At MIHOX, he remains directly involved in product manufacturing, tooling and quality decisions — from DFM and mold structure to the final production standard.
His focus is straightforward: make sure the approved prototype remains the reference throughout mass production.

Stella Yan
14 years in quality and factory operations.
“What we achieve in the sample, we must deliver in mass production — and strive to do even better.”
Stella has 14 years of experience in collectible manufacturing, factory operations and international supply chain management. A significant part of that experience was built working with the Japanese market, where process control and delivery standards are exacting.
At MIHOX, she oversees factory operations, quality management and supply chain coordination. She works with production teams and suppliers to keep schedules, specifications and inspections aligned.
Her approach is simple: define the standard before production, inspect during production, and correct issues before they reach final inspection.
04 / How MIHOX is structured
Operator-led.
Not intermediary-led.
MIHOX is the international business team for New Miho and its owned factories, Meihui and Boyuan. We are not a trading intermediary or an agency for external factories.
We own the factories
Meihui and Boyuan are our own manufacturing facilities in Dongguan, supporting tooling, production, finishing, assembly and quality control.
Engineering is accountable
Steven and the engineering team stay involved from DFM and mold structure to the production standard. The approved prototype is the reference.
Operations owns quality
Stella and the operations team coordinate specifications, inspections and schedules so the approved standard carries into mass production.

The founders’ work is not separated from production. Both factories are owned facilities in Dongguan, and clients are welcome to visit by appointment or arrange a live video tour.

He begins working in collectible figure and licensed merchandise manufacturing, specializing in mold engineering and production.

New Miho is founded
The company is founded in 2009. Its manufacturing group today includes Meihui and Boyuan in Dongguan.

Steven and Stella remain directly involved in engineering, operations and quality for international B2B projects.

Founder-led review.
Factory-floor accountability.
A project is not handed to an anonymous sales team. The people who assess feasibility and production are the people responsible for the factory standard.
Direct engineering review
Your reference files, 3D data or sketches are reviewed by the engineering team that will plan the mold and production process.
The prototype is the standard
The approved sample becomes the production reference. Changes are documented and agreed before mass production.
Quality before mass production
Specifications, materials and inspection criteria are defined before production begins — not treated as a final-inspection problem.
Factory visibility
Clients can visit the factories in Dongguan by appointment or arrange a live video tour with the team.
